VIRGINIA
ADLER ARCHITECTURE, LLC was formed on July 31, 2014 effectively replacing Alan E. Adler, Architect (d.b.a.) The Healthcare Collaborative which was previously founded on January 1, 1993. The firm originated in Lynchburg, Virginia in association with The Greenwood Partnership which was formed in 1988. An Architecture and Engineering firm founded by Alan Adler, AIA and four engineering partners. The four partners represented the Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing disciplines. Bill Greenwood, PE and Alan formed a positive relationship with the Corporate and Healthcare communities through Bill’s previous association as a Board Member with Centra Health System in Lynchburg. With retirement, the CEO of Centra Health, Ray Hogan, joined the firm and together Ray and Alan introduced the firm to hospitals in Virginia and established a strong healthcare market. 

TEXAS
In 1996 The Healthcare Collaborative opened a new office in Texas. With the advent of mobile computer technologies and the development of our Healthcare client base it became possible to open and service two markets, one in Texas and Virginia. Since then our firm has assembled a team of professional architects and engineers for the purpose of creating the best possible project delivery system. The name of the firm changed in 2014 and in 2015 when Alex Adler, AIA became a licensed Architect. Having been with the firm now for 17 years he brings motivated highly educated insight to the firm. We often hear from our clients that they like a “Family Business” because it shows deep trust, loyalty, integrity and learning.

 

 

 

ALEX ADLER, AIA
Alex graduated from Baylor University and joined the firm in 2004. Having grown up in Architectural environment he quickly learned the profession and has worked on all different types of projects. He learned from experienced professionals and now is in charge of growing the firm from a client and staff perspective. He will assure that the quality standards are kept high and on time delivery is emphasized. Today he is Project Manager and Design Architect for some of our major clients and follows the construction documents through construction and completion. He has strong discipline and sense of detailed follow-through.

ALAN ADLER, AIA
Alan graduated from the University of Texas and began practicing as a sole proprietor in 1975. As Owner of Adler Architecture, LLC he brings 49 years of Architectural and Interior Design experience to the firm. Mr. Adler’s strong project management experience and understanding of client requirements was developed through years as an Architect, Interior Designer, Developer, and Contractor. Always on the front line communicating with Owners, his involvement assures consistent client contact, adherence to project goals, and coordination of the design team.

‘While Healthcare is a prime focus we have experience and clients in other markets. These markets include Commercial-Office, Educational Facilities, Sports Facilities, and specialty markets such as Banks.

‘Our projects frequently demand alternative geographical locations which requires we be licensed in different states. We have NCARB licensing allowing for the transference of credentials to other states. Currently, we are licensed in Texas, Virginia, California, Washington State, Oregon, Colorado, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Florida, Pennsylvania, and North Carolina.
